🚀 Did the United States accidentally launch a manhole cover into SPACE with a nuclear explosion in 1957?!

In this episode of MX3 Podcast, we react to The Fat Electrician's hilarious and fascinating breakdown of **Operation Plumbbob**, one of the wildest chapters in American nuclear testing history.

During the Cold War, the U.S. government conducted nuclear experiments in Nevada that sound almost impossible to believe. From detonating a nuclear missile above five military volunteers and a cameraman to launching a massive steel cap at an estimated extraordinary speed, this story raises some serious questions about science, safety, and government accountability.

💥 **In this reaction, we discuss:**
☢️ Operation Plumbbob and America's 1957 nuclear experiments
🚀 The infamous Pascal-B manhole cover and the mystery of whether it reached space
💣 The nuclear missile detonated above military volunteers
🔬 The astonishing science behind underground nuclear explosions
⚠️ Radiation exposure, nuclear fallout, and the consequences for American citizens
💰 Government accountability and compensation for radiation victims

Was the manhole cover actually the first human-made object to reach space, or was it destroyed before getting there? The answer remains uncertain, but the story is incredible.

We also discuss the long-term consequences of nuclear testing and whether the government did enough for those affected.

🎙️ At MX3 Podcast, our mission is to discuss **money, motivation, and relevant events** while bringing you entertaining reactions, real conversations, and thought-provoking perspectives.
